Small groups make learning fun.
I specialize in group lessons and know how to get my students to excel through personalized attention, patience, a lot of practice, and hard work. Group lessons allow students to learn math socially, , and will enable students to create problem-solving strategies with their peers. I make learning fun through a variety of engaging and outside-the-box activities. Teaching is a skill, but excellent teaching is an art.
Group lessons range from $20 to $40 an hour. Group lessons can be tailored to meet your group's needs, or you can join a group. Maximum 4 students in a group.

Exploring Math is a study group for 5th - 7th graders that emphasizes working together to find solutions to math problems. Students focus on finding reasonable solutions while having fun with math. Each class will consist of a math game that develops mental math skills, communicating mathematically, and group problem-solving.
6TH GRADE MATH REVIEW
The Math Review study group is for 6th graders that need to brush up on math concepts. Each class will work on developing mental math skills, and basic multiplication facts (up to 15x15). We will review topics such as short and long division, measurement, divisibility rules, squares, prime factorization, fractions, and decimals.
